Elizabeth Okoh

Elizabeth Okoh is a British-Nigerian Writer, Photographer and Content Creator with a penchant for storytelling and wanderlust. She holds a joint honours degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Sussex and a certificate in Novel Writing and Longer Works from City University of London. 

Okoh was listed for the Etisalat Flash Fiction 2015 Prize for Literature and her writing has been published in Culture Trip, BN, The Naked Convos, Simone Digital and Fashion Business Africa, amongst others. 

Okoh is a self-taught photographer interested in portraiture, boudoir and conceptual photography. Her work has been published in O Blogo, Brazil’s biggest national newspaper, Gal Dem, Falstaff and Positive News. Her art has also been exhibited across London and Athens.

Okoh’s work is inspired and influenced by social justice, Nigerian culture, immigration and living in the diaspora. Her debut novel The Returnees will be published by Hodder & Stoughton on 6 August 2020. She is currently working on her second novel and empowering women through the art of boudoir photography.
